V-Ray Architectural Volume 1 comes with five V-Ray materials including: Wood Floor, Frosted Glass, Architectural Glass, Linoleum Floors and Brushed Metal. With just a few clicks, you can get the results you need to create high quality and highly realistic visualizations. We take the guess work out of creating superb looking materials, leaving you to focus on the more important parts of your project.

Integrated into the material editor

The V-Ray Shader collection is integrated right into 3ds max and becomes one of the material options available within the material editor. This is not an inflexible pre-defined material collection, these are expertly programmed shaders that control many components of the V-Ray material based on specific material criteria. We do all the hard work behind the scenes, you just set the type of material and finish you want!

Wood Floor Material

10 preset materials included! The wood floor material comes pre-installed with 10 wood floor textures. You simply choose the material you want and one of the glossiness and quality presets and you will get perfect results every time! Advanced custom settings If you want a bit more control or to use your own materials that’s easy too. Just pick your bitmap, and bump map if applicable, and the custom settings will allow you to manually adjust the type of finish (Matte, Satin, Semi Gloss, or High Gloss) from the Glossiness slider and adjust the quality settings to your specific requirements.

Linoleum Floor Material

5 preset materials included! The linoleum shader comes pre-installed with 5 linoleum floor textures. You simply choose the material you want and one of the glossiness and quality presets and you will get perfect results every time! Advanced custom settings If you want a bit more control or to use your own materials that’s easy too. Just pick your bitmap, and bump map if applicable, and the custom settings will allow you to manually adjust the type of finish (Matte, Satin, Semi Gloss, or High Gloss) from the Glossiness slider and adjust the quality settings to your specific requirements.

Architectural Glass Material

Realistic looking architectural glass is one of the most difficult materials to create. With the Architectual Glass material, all of the difficult setup has been done for you. You just adjust a few intuitive parameters and you get consistently stunning results. The material comes with several presets to get you going, but creating glass specific to your project is very easy. Simply choose the glass color and absorption strength and you are ready to render. Advanced Muti-color glass coatings Many of today’s modern architectures use special glass that changes color depending upon the viewing angle. Until now creating this type of glass required a lot of experimentation and an advanced knowledge of materials. Now you simply choose the secondary color and your glass renders just as you would expect!

Frosted Glass Material

Creating convincing frosted glass can be a daunting task and unless you have a lot of time to experiment, can be very time consuming. The frosted glass shader exposes only the settings that are most important and make creating frosting a very intuitive process. The material comes with several presets that work very well in most scenes, but creating a custom frosting is very easy as well. Simply choose your glass color and the frosting amount and you are ready to render.

Brushed Metal Material

Anyone that has tried to replicate a realistic brushed metal finish can attest to how hard it can be and how much trial and error is required. This brushed metal shader exposes only the settings that are important to creating a highly realistic and optimized material. The material comes with several presets and requires very little extra input.
