Conceptual and Project Design
You'll start this first module by setting up profiles, and proceed to customize options and the user interface. Conceptual topics include designing with the golden rectangle, creating a dynamic block, using mass elements and mass groups, making a site model, and more. You'll rough-in the project skeleton with levels, elements, constructs, views, and sheets.
Design Development This video module will teach you how to design, modify, and style structural members, walls, doors, windows, door/window assemblies, curtain walls, slabs, roofs, stairs, railings, multi-view blocks, and much more.
Construction Documentation
This last module will teach you how to generate a coordinated sheet set from the building information model including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules. You'll learn how to tag, annotate, and dimension the ADT way.
This tutorial uses Imperial units (feet and inches) and instruction is in English.

Instructor Bio:
Scott Onstott went to college at UC Berkeley and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Architecture in 1992. He began his career doing manual drafting and soon transitioned to AutoCAD. He discovered that he enjoyed using computers and fully embraced the change technology brought to Architecture.
Scott gained experience in several prominent engineering, architecture and interiors firms in San Francisco. He worked as Draftsman, CAD Designer, CAD Manager, Job Captain, and Programmer before becoming an independent consultant. Scott taught over 45 semester courses at three Bay Area colleges and has now written and edited dozens of technical computer books.
In 2003 Scott and his wife immigrated to Canada where they enjoy living on a remote island in beautiful British Columbia.
